

About Lauren
Lauren Krohn, MS, RDN, is the founder of Sprout & Savor Nutrition and a seasoned expert in school nutrition and farm-to-school programming. With over a decade of experience in school food operations, public health, and local procurement, she helps schools and producers create healthier, more sustainable food systems. Lauren has experience at both the district and state levels, and her graduate research focused on local sourcing in school meals. Through her consulting work, she supports scratch cooking, nutrition education, and equitable access to fresh, local foods in schools.

Sprout & Savor Nutrition empowers schools and local food producers to build healthier, more sustainable food systems by fostering strong farm-to-school partnerships, supporting scratch-cooked meals, and advancing equitable access to nutritious, locally sourced foods for all students.
